I'd like to know the answer to that one, too, out of curiosity. I know Richard's mentioned the virtues of the smaller (8" speaker) Supro and Valco amps for recording, as you can crank them without overloading the mic. (This became known as a Jimmy Page trick, 's I recall...) Yeah, if the Pod was on _Cover_, I'll be somewhat surprised, but...a lot of the tone resides inside the guitarist, it seems.
