I think he touches on that in one of his writings, but I'm not sure. Maybe
if you move it fast enough you can get a Doppler effect or something!

One thing I saw at the Boston show was that during the Zeppelin cover
Richard turned to his amp and was making wide rhythmic motions with his
guitar; it seemed he was controlling the "swell" of his sound by the
physical proximity of the guitar to the amp - something that just can't
be done without an actual amp!
