Jim, you're not alone on this list. I'll stand up and be counted as
a 'Dan fan, 's much as it may give Keith the howling fantods. I did
like the new one--that stretch of "Janie Runaway" through "Jack of
Speed" was really gratifying to me. And yeah, I bought it the day it
came out. (I have several reviews on my site, actually.) I didn't
like "Negative Girl" at first, but after a while, it really sunk in.
Still, I have to say that the Denny Diaz/Skunk Baxter and the Larry
Carlton years are my favorite SD periods. Great band, no matter what
people may think.
